I started Matryoshka Mischief because I couldn’t find one place that celebrated Russian humor in all its absurd, biting glory. Not just for Russians in Australia—though we’re often the second-born, raised between languages and contradictions—but for anyone who gets the joke. The kind of humor that hides in plain sight, like a Moscow Mule: part cultural reference, part cocktail, all mischief. I wanted to show that even if we come across hard, there’s laughter layered underneath. This brand is my rebellion, my satire, my way of saying: we’re here, we’re weird, and we’re funny as hell.

I founded Matryoshka Mischief to dismantle tradition one mascot at a time. Fluent in absurdity and satire.
